but it's hard to get in the back with two child seats in the middle. Maybe the child seats are supposed to be in the back, but it's hard enough sometimes to get the 18 month old into the middle seat, I can't imagine trying to get her all the way in the back.
I don't know what we're going to get any more. The kids will be in car seats for a long time, but we'll get to turn #1's around soon. I think that will help a lot, rear facing just takes up so much room.
It might be worth looking at second hand places like Once Upon a Child just to see what's out there. OTOH, you might be getting to the point where a stroller is a nice to have and not a requirement any more. I take #1 with me to the store and don't bring the stroller, it's too much work. I can just carry her in to the cart.
I think it's either made for shorter people or it was a design choice to decrease the trunk space required because the push bar is just a tad bit low to be comfortable pushing. I do like that it folds in half with a simple pull of the strap.

My father in law has a Hyundai mini van where the rear most seat folds into the floor which is nice to fit extra stuff. (The two middle seats come out completely as well.)
Just bringing that up because I guess it depends on how much you need that rear most seat for sitting instead of just some ex... more
