I can only imagine...

...how miserable you and the family must feel. Be assured that we are most sympathetic. Aside from the inconvenience and discomfort I am sure the additional layout of financial stress is almost unbearable; it would be for me.

I am quite used to my situation as we never had such electrical luxuries on the ranch and so I was able to cope with my old house here in Tombstone, but kindness has been bestowed on us this summer as we are having almost continuous rainy periods which is cooling things off at night as we leave all our doors and windows open all night. The days we don't get rain can get quite muggy though and nothing is worse than sweat dripping off your hair when you are trying to cook in the kitchen. A lot of salads is one great help!

Well, it looks like we will have to beat up on you later when you get over your present stress level. Darn, it was getting lively, too. You city boys need to 'cowboy up!' We are going to have a colder winter so check your heating system and what's left of a second mortgage!!!

But seriously, keep us posted from time to time so we can sympathize when you are feeling down.

Best always, Joyce...and probably Tom, too.
