Welcome!

The header and footer fields on the appearance maintenance page is a bit restrictive in size but does allow HTML tags. The prologue and epilogue fields also allow HTML tags and are also less restrictive.

Here are some examples of how you can set the text larger in those fields:

Surround the text with a header (h) HTML tag. These tags go from H1 (largest) to H6 (smallest)
<H1>Your text here</H1>

Output:

Your text here

You can also use inline style attributes. Example, you can use the paragraph (p) tag and manually set a specific font size.
<P style="font-size:28px;">Your text here</P>

Output:

Your text here

To center the text, you can wrap your tag in a "center" tag:
<CENTER><H1>Your text here</H1></CENTER>

Output:

Your text here

More info: https://www.w3schools.com/tags/tag_center.asp

You can also use the inline style tag to set the font size and center the text.
<P style="font-size:28px;text-align:center;>Your text here</P>

Output:

Your text here

The header and footer are limited to 128 characters so it can make fitting more complex text in there a little difficult. The prologue and epilogue on the other hand allow large amounts of custom text.

Hope this helps. Please let me know if you need any additional help.

Thanks,
Erik

Hi, I'm working on setting up a discussion forum, and I would like to enlarge the font on the header and the title. I'd also like to center them. Can you tell me how to do this? Thanks so much> Ben
